The TV Guide Awards

The nominees were listed in the January 9th issue of "TV Guide." Why are these awards so cool? Because they are all voted upon by readers. Regular people. Not some members of some academy that you never hear of until awards season.

The awards were presented in a ceremony at 8pm EST on Monday, February 1st, and were hosted by Christina Applegate ("Jesse") and French Stewart ("3rd Rock from the Sun"). The ceremony was televised on FOX. Presenters included Rick Schroder, Dennis Franz, Lara Flynn Boyle, Lisa Nicole Carson, Roma Downey, Dylan McDermott, and David James Elliot.
